Namita is a practitioner of Yoga and this interest of hers motivated her to do the teacher's training course in Yoga sometime back.

There is a tremendous stress on certain parts of a dancer's body like the knees, lower back, and shoulders and neck. Namita feels that dancers need to incorporate the yoga philosophy, asanas, pranayams and the kriyas in their daily lives and enhance their performances by making them more chiseled.

Namita's yoga camps are specially designed for a dancer's routine since yoga can be an effective tool in a dancer's life. Her camp received a good response from the dancers recently. The campers were served satvik lunch provided by a dietician. The dancers who attended the camp found the relaxations and the creative games played during the sessions very interesting. Ms Bodaji found the participants quite receptive and this has led to some more invitations for such camps in future.
